Light Weathering Sponges are fine-textured foam sponges for applying subtle chipping, scuffs, and wear effects to Warhammer miniatures. They produce a lighter, more controlled stipple than the heavy sponges, making them ideal for infantry armour and smaller models where you want realistic wear without overdoing it.

Knowing when to use light versus heavy weathering is one of the things that separates good painters from great ones.
